Description
The Materials Manager oversees warehouse operations, inventory management, stock control, receiving, shipping, material handling, cycle counts, and inventory disposal. The role develops warehouse systems, coordinates cross-functional projects, produces inventory and warehouse reports, and manages, coaches, trains, and evaluates materials employees. Candidates need five years of warehouse or inventory management experience, five years leading hourly teams or equivalent experience, a related university or college degree or equivalent education and experience, advanced Microsoft Office skills, strong English communication skills, and the ability to manage multi-shift staffing. The anticipated starting pay is CDN $100,000–$130,000 per year, with performance-based bonuses and benefits.
