Description
The Materials Manager leads purchasing, planning, inventory control, stockroom operations, vendor management, and supply-chain performance for a manufacturing environment. The role supervises purchasing, planning, inventory control, and stockroom teams; hires, trains, and evaluates staff; develops sourcing plans; negotiates vendor contracts; maintains inventory accuracy; and uses ERP systems to support procurement and inventory data. A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field and at least five years of manufacturing materials-management experience are required, along with at least three years of supervisory experience.
