The Materials Mechanical Engineering Technician is a 12-month, first-shift W2 contract role supporting a medical devices company's Materials R&D laboratory in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. The mid-level technician conducts materials testing and experiments, operates characterization equipment, performs polymer compounding and processing, interprets data, writes technical reports, supports test workflows, maintains calibration and laboratory operations, manages chemicals and supplies, assists with equipment upgrades and troubleshooting, and ensures compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
