Description
Samtec, Inc. is hiring a Materials Planner to optimize raw-material inventory, improve inventory turnover, and purchase materials in the required quality and quantity for production and on-time delivery. The role includes MRP reporting and purchase-order entry, vendor and supplier coordination, inventory analysis, delivery tracking, defective-material handling, blanket-order opportunities, ECN updates, and standard-cost and vendor-quote maintenance. Applicants need at least two years of raw-material purchasing or planning experience, high school education or above, English proficiency, and experience with APICS, PrintView, SGN, ECN, and MRP.
