Description
The Materials Process Development Engineer develops and optimizes advanced manufacturing processes for semiconductor packaging and thermal management applications. The role integrates ceramic and diamond materials with semiconductor components, designs and executes experiments, develops joining and bonding processes, operates and qualifies equipment, characterizes materials and interfaces, analyzes process performance, and leads technical development projects through prototype development to manufacturing readiness. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a related engineering or scientific discipline, at least five years of related experience with a bachelor's degree or an alternative qualification, and experience with advanced materials processing, bonding, semiconductor fabrication, or process characterization. The work is performed across laboratory, cleanroom, office, and manufacturing environments.
