Description
Helion is hiring an onsite Materials Scientist in Everett, Washington to own materials test workstreams, run experiments, develop test setups and procedures, investigate failures in structural and polymer-based insulation systems, and translate results into design and process recommendations. The role reports to the Materials Manager and requires a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, hands-on materials failure analysis experience, at least three years of materials characterization and failure analysis experience, and experience with custom laboratory setups.
