Description
RxSight is hiring a Materials Scientist to lead the development and transfer of silicone- and acrylic-based ophthalmic materials and manufacturing processes from feasibility through process development, verification, and production. The role focuses on reducing process variability, developing mechanistic and statistical models, characterizing curing and molding operations, and improving product quality, dimensional stability, optical performance, and manufacturability. The position requires a Ph.D. or M.S. in a relevant materials or chemical discipline, significant experience with polymeric or soft-material systems, and strong experimental, analytical, and cross-functional skills.
