Description
The Materials Tester is responsible for preparing, performing, documenting, and calibrating mechanical and physical tests on specimens and components, including tensile, creep, stress-rupture, impact, fatigue, conductivity, hardness, and residual-stress testing. The role also involves designing test setups, maintaining and repairing testing equipment, entering results into SAP, and preparing reports. Completed vocational training as a materials tester, initial experience testing metallic materials, organizational skills, and knowledge of MS Office are preferred; SAP and English skills are advantageous.
