Description
The Materials Testing Specialist will work at the intersection of research, testing, and training, independently processing materials-testing research and development projects, supporting the development and optimization of new test methods, and delivering practical and theoretical teaching sessions, including some on-site at customer locations. The role collaborates with scientists, industry partners, and interdisciplinary teams, contributes to process optimization and innovation, and supports the development of the Material Science Campus. Candidates need a completed degree in a relevant engineering or natural science discipline and experience or qualification in non-destructive testing across at least four ISO 9712 Level 2 procedures; German proficiency is required, while additional languages are advantageous.
