Description
The Materials Testing Technician performs field and laboratory sampling, testing, and documentation of soils, aggregates, concrete, and other construction materials for heavy civil and transportation projects. The role supports quality control, material verification, aggregate crushing and processing, calibration, equipment maintenance, chain-of-custody tracking, and reporting of test results in accordance with ASTM, AASHTO, project specifications, and contract requirements. The position requires construction materials testing experience, relevant certifications, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work extended hours, weekends, remote project assignments, and various shifts.
