Helion is hiring a senior Materials Testing Technologist to support engineering research, development, and manufacturing through hands-on materials testing, analytical-system operation, and precision fabrication. The role involves operating and troubleshooting mechanical testing and imaging equipment, executing ASTM-based and custom test workflows, configuring setups, documenting procedures and results, analyzing data, troubleshooting instrumentation, fabricating fixtures, mentoring junior Technologists, and working in controlled or radiological environments. The position requires at least 8 years of hands-on experience with mechanical testing systems and analytical instrumentation, along with strong fabrication, documentation, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.
