Description
The Math High School Equivalency Instructor will teach small groups of adult learners intermediate mathematics, including problem solving, measurement, and algebra, with the goal of improving career options or earning a High School Equivalency Diploma. The role delivers engaging lessons, sets student goals, supports attendance, maintains records, communicates with students and college staff, and participates in staff development. It is a part-time afternoon schedule of two days per week, approximately six to eight hours per week, at $18 per hour, and requires a bachelor’s degree, adult-teaching experience, computer skills, communication skills, and discretion with confidential information.
