Description
The GED and TABE Instructor performs professional-level instruction for GED preparation, TABE reading and math preparation, high school diploma programs, social skills, employability skills, applied academics, and project-based learning. The role includes classroom management, lesson planning, attendance and student progress records, student accommodations, customer service, retention support, departmental collaboration, and participation in safety drills. A bachelor’s degree and state teaching certification are required, with certification waived only if the center cannot hire certified teachers.
