Description
The Mathematics Faculty member will teach mathematics courses from Pre-Algebra through Differential Equations, develop and revise course materials, and mentor adjunct faculty. The role may involve face-to-face, day, night, weekend, online, and Zoom instruction, with possible online, accelerated, livestream, hybrid, and classroom formats. Required qualifications include a master's degree in mathematics or equivalent graduate coursework, effective communication, graphing-calculator experience, and successful mathematics teaching experience. Preferred qualifications include developmental mathematics, online course instruction, and community-college experience. The position has no supervisory responsibilities and includes standard faculty duties such as grading, assessment, Moodle administration, professional development, and participation in academic governance.
