Description
The Math Lab Tutor provides individual and group mathematics tutoring, helps students identify and overcome learning deficiencies, supports homework and online learning, guides students toward independent learning, evaluates skill progression, and participates in staff development. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completed College Algebra and/or Statistics with a grade of B or higher, and preferably an associate's degree and six months of related teaching or tutoring experience. It is an on-site position reporting to the Director, Student Success Center, with a variable schedule of up to 19.5 hours per week.
