Description

MANTECH is hiring a Mathematical Modeling and Simulation Analyst to support Air Force munitions requirements development at AF/A5/7 Global Munitions in Arlington, Virginia. The role focuses on Combat Forces Assessment Model (CFAM) analysis, campaign-level trade-off studies, munitions capability and inventory assessments, data analysis, analytical tool development, and technical briefings for Air Force decision makers. It is a full-time onsite position requiring a Secret clearance, a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related engineering field, and at least five years of modeling and simulation experience. The projected compensation range is $104,200 to $172,900, with health insurance and other benefits available.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Operations Research, or related engineering
Required Previous Experiences: At least 5 years of modeling and simulation experience
Data analysis experience involving weapons effectiveness and multivariate trends
Experience using Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in the United States Air Force or another military service
Graduate degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, or Linear and Nonlinear Optimization
Experience modeling modern combat aircraft, airborne systems, and weapons employment at the campaign level
Experience developing study plans with defined scope, assumptions, measures of effectiveness, parameters, methodology, data requirements, and schedules
Experience developing model inputs, running models, and analyzing results with Excel or other tools
Experience communicating modeling and simulation assumptions, methodology, results, and conclusions in briefings and formal reports
Experience answering senior-level questions and requests for information on briefings and reports
Experience building data analysis tools using Excel, Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, MATLAB, or similar platforms
