Description
The Shipboard Ammunition Logistics Specialist manages, handles, transports, and stores ammunition, explosives, and missiles; inspects materials for serviceability; maintains ammunition security and safety procedures; and ensures accurate inventory and proper storage classification. The role requires U.S. citizenship, a Secret Clearance, completion of the Enlisted Ammunition Specialist Course or equivalent, a high school education, four years of related work experience, and a valid state driver’s license. Preferred qualifications include prior Army, Marine Corps, or U.S. Army Special Forces ammunition experience.
