GlobalFoundries is hiring an MCU Architect, Custom Silicon to define and own the architecture of next-generation microcontroller-based silicon solutions, including real-time embedded SoCs and application-specific MCU platforms. The role covers architecture trade-offs, compute and memory subsystems, interconnects, peripherals, clock and power architecture, hardware-software interfaces, validation, bring-up, post-silicon debug, and functional safety and security compliance. Candidates need deep MCU or custom silicon architecture experience, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field, and strong knowledge of embedded interfaces and system-level design.
