Description
Varonis is seeking an MDR Security Engineer in Israel to own, develop, and operate production-grade SOAR and security automation systems supporting 24/7/365 managed detection and response. The role focuses on building playbooks, workflows, and integrations across SIEM, EDR/XDR, identity, cloud, and ticketing systems; automating alert triage, enrichment, investigation, containment, and response; and improving SOC efficiency, reliability, detection quality, and incident response outcomes. The engineer will also define automation KPIs, maintain dashboards, monitor workflow and integration health, and optimize automation at scale. The position uses a flexible hybrid work model and requires substantial security operations, SOAR, scripting, API integration, and CI/CD experience.
