Description
The Manufacturing Engineering Lead directs Manufacturing Engineering Technicians and other technical staff on assigned manufacturing lines, focusing on machine and process efficiency, equipment maintenance, programming, optimization, tooling, data integrity, and design-for-manufacturing support. The role also provides training, manages coverage for absent technicians, coordinates corrective actions with line supervisors and other manufacturing teams, and may assist Manufacturing Engineers with reflow and wave-solder profiles. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science, at least five years of related experience or training, team-lead experience, and cross-functional manufacturing experience.
