Description
The Manufacturing Engineering Lead directs Manufacturing Engineering Technicians and other technical staff on assigned manufacturing lines, focusing on machine and process efficiency, equipment maintenance, programming, tooling, data integrity, and corrective actions. The role also provides training, covers absent technician duties, and supports Manufacturing Engineers with reflow and soldering profiles, screen-printing, and design-for-manufacturing suggestions. It requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or at least five years of related experience, cross-functional manufacturing experience, and strong technical and interpersonal skills; Japanese language proficiency is preferred.
