Description

Momentum Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Data Scientist to develop and improve natural language processing solutions for spoken and written language data. The role focuses on tokenization, linguistic annotation, machine learning model training and evaluation, data pipelines, error analysis, and production integration. Additional Information

Minimum Education: Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or Associate’s degree with 10 years of in-depth relevant experience related to the position
Required Previous Experiences: Experience with NLP and machine learning techniques
Experience developing tokenization, text processing, and linguistic annotation models
Experience working with speech and/or text data
Understanding of model evaluation against ground truth or human-labeled data
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with part-of-speech tagging and linguistic modeling
Experience with multilingual or speech-based datasets
Familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow
Experience deploying NLP models in production
Knowledge of data pipelines and large-scale data processing
