Description

Momentum Engineering, Inc. is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to support mission-critical Department of Defense and Intelligence Community programs. The role covers requirements analysis, secure software design and development, testing, deployment, debugging, database and integration work, documentation, code reviews, Agile delivery, and mentoring. Required qualifications include an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with an NSA Full Scope Polygraph, at least 14 years of comparable software engineering experience, a relevant bachelor's degree or four additional years of related experience, and expertise in Agile, Terraform, AWS security, and CI/CD. Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university
Required Previous Experiences: At least 14 years of experience supporting software engineering programs of comparable scope, type, and complexity
Experience managing Agile software development workflows using Jira and GitLab
Experience working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Experience developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
Experience implementing AWS cloud security best practices, including IAM, network segmentation, encryption, and auditing
Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines supporting automated testing, builds, and deployments
Preferred Qualifications: Experience developing cloud-native or enterprise software applications
Experience with Git-based version control and collaborative software development practices
Experience supporting AWS cloud environments and cloud-native architectures
Experience integrating Infrastructure as Code into automated deployment pipelines
Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and secure software development methodologies
Experience with automated testing frameworks and software quality assurance practices
Experience supporting Department of Defense or Intelligence Community software development programs
