Description
The role involves picking customer orders from a warehouse management system, preparing and inspecting goods for dispatch, receiving and checking deliveries against hygiene regulations, moving premium goods with a pallet truck and hand-operated cart, issuing goods to customers and freight forwarders, managing returnable packaging, and maintaining the building and equipment. The work is mainly performed in a temperature-controlled hall, with brief access to cold-room or deep-freeze areas. Candidates should have training in the meat trade, professional food-logistics experience, or specialist meat-processing knowledge, along with initial professional experience, physical resilience, reliability, teamwork, structured working habits, and basic IT knowledge.
