The Meat Wrapper is responsible for learning how to handle fresh meat and other meat products, operating the meat department efficiently, managing orders and inventory, and merchandising meat to maximize sales. This role involves packaging, weighing, pricing, labeling, and presenting meat according to company standards. The Meat Wrapper also assists with product ordering, maintains proper date rotation, prepares meat for display, ensures cold chain maintenance during deliveries, and performs cleaning and sanitation tasks. Adherence to company policies and procedures, protection of company assets, and flexibility to perform other duties are essential.
