Description
The Mechanic maintains and repairs heavy-duty tractors, trailers, and fleet equipment, performing preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, repairs, DOT documentation, troubleshooting, emergency repairs, and inventory support. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of mechanical maintenance and repair experience, a valid driver's license, physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and the ability to work overtime, varying shifts, and on-call rotations. Preferred qualifications include a Class A CDL, over-the-road tractor and trailer repair experience, DOT knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and teamwork ability.
