Applied Industrial Technologies is hiring a Rubber Shop Mechanic to customize light- and heavy-duty belts and rubber components for customers, either in-house or at customer sites. The role involves building and repairing belts and rubber products, fabricating and installing conveyor belting and systems, managing parts and supplies, preparing sales orders, and maintaining safe and organized work areas. Candidates need a strong mechanical background, basic math and communication skills, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in heights and tight spaces, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent; maintenance or belt technology experience is preferred but not required.
