Description
The Large Equipment Mechanic inspects, diagnoses, repairs, and maintains A Tool Shed’s large rental-equipment fleet, including construction and agricultural equipment such as excavators, skid steers, backhoes, trenchers, loaders, and aerial equipment. The role performs preventive maintenance, diesel-engine and hydraulic, electrical, cooling, fuel, brake, and steering-system repairs, equipment testing, documentation, safety inspections, and field service when needed. It requires prior heavy-equipment repair experience or equivalent education and hands-on experience, knowledge of diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems, and the ability to safely operate and test equipment.
