Description
The role performs maintenance and repairs on cars, trucks, construction equipment, and small engines under the Shop Manager. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical problems, testing systems, planning repairs and schedules, ordering parts, performing routine and preventative maintenance, replacing malfunctioning components, and verifying repairs. The position requires extensive vehicle and equipment maintenance knowledge, computer diagnostic skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to read service manuals and use asset-tracking software. A technical degree or equivalent education and experience is preferred, along with five years of related experience and a Class A CDL; a valid driver’s license is also required.
