Alaska Marine Trucking is hiring a full-time day-shift Mechanic in Anchorage, Alaska, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The role repairs and maintains industrial trucks, trailers, machinery, engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines, and other equipment. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical problems, replacing defective parts, performing metalwork, repairing electrical equipment, completing maintenance records, and following safety procedures. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, related experience or training, English and basic computer skills, hazard materials training, and the ability to obtain an Alaska Commercial Driving License with an air-brake endorsement, a DOT medical card, forklift operation certification, and relevant FHWA and brake inspector certifications.
