Description
The Vehicle Maintenance Technician maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and upgrades vehicles in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include inspecting mechanical and electrical systems, testing parts, performing routine maintenance, replacing broken components, keeping work logs, and following food-safety, GMP, OSHA, HACCP, and sanitation requirements. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, offers an associate’s degree and ASE certification, and prefers two years of related experience; a Class A CDL is preferred for heavy-truck work after 90 days. The position works assigned shifts with available overtime and involves physical work in hot, humid, cold, and allergen-exposed conditions.
