Description
The role performs advanced maintenance, repair, and overhaul of powered light- and medium-duty vehicles, including gasoline and diesel engines, transmissions, differentials, electronic fuel-injection and ignition systems, electrical, hydraulic, fuel, emission-control, air-conditioning, and other vehicle systems. It also diagnoses and repairs field-inoperative vehicles, records parts and maintenance work, obtains repair parts through Fleet Services protocols, and maintains a safe work area. The position requires a valid driver's license, high-school-equivalent education, recent advanced vehicle-repair experience or ASE Master Automotive Technician certification, and the ability to provide own tools.
