Description
Select’s Mechanic diagnoses mechanical problems and repairs or rebuilds equipment on or off-site, including diesel equipment, vehicle inspections, preventative maintenance, adjustments, alignments, recordkeeping, emergency callouts, and fleet maintenance. The role requires a valid driver’s license, eligibility to drive a company vehicle, and 3 to 4 years of related work experience; technical school or skilled-trades accreditation is highly preferred. The position involves outdoor work in varied weather, exposure to moving mechanical parts and noise, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
