Description
MGE Underground is hiring a full-time, on-site Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and inspect hydraulic, electrical, diesel, air-brake, and other heavy-duty construction equipment and vehicles. The role includes preventative maintenance, part replacement, welding and fabrication, DOT inspections, job-site repairs, and coaching entry-level mechanics. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, at least four years of heavy-duty equipment service and repair experience, relevant hydraulic, diesel, DOT/BIT, air-brake, electrical, and welding experience, and a valid Class C driver’s license. The pay range is $41.00 to $53.00, with medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
