Veolia is hiring a Wastewater Treatment Plant Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and minor facility maintenance on mechanical equipment at wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and incineration facilities. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 6–24 months of related experience, a Connecticut Grade I Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators Certificate or A collections certificate, a valid driver’s license, and forklift certification. The position is 100% on-site, may involve outdoor work and emergency on-call duties, and pays $39.42 to $44.45 per hour.
