Description
The Diesel Technician diagnoses and repairs diesel and gasoline vehicles, including steering, electrical, cooling, lubricating, braking, drive-train, suspension, power-steering, clutch, transmission, engine, and fuel-regulating systems. The role also performs preventive maintenance, road calls, repairs, vehicle-recordkeeping, parts inventory, and reporting of unsafe maintenance conditions. Candidates need at least three years of diesel-mechanic repair experience, diagnostic and electrical skills, fleet experience, a valid applicable state license, and a CDL is preferred.
