Description
The Hospital Facility Maintenance Technician performs electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and general facility maintenance; completes preventive-maintenance work orders; follows life-safety, infection-control, code, and safety procedures; coordinates with other departments; and maintains tools, equipment, and work areas. The role requires five years of general-maintenance experience, knowledge of hospital systems, the ability to read technical instructions and blueprints, a valid SC driver's license, physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders, and completion of required training and health-screening requirements.
