Description
The Rental Equipment Service Technician diagnoses, services, and repairs rental equipment such as pressure washers, trenchers, generators, aerators, compaction equipment, trailers, and small engines. The role also performs preventive maintenance, inspects returned equipment, maintains service records, coordinates equipment turnaround, supports warranty and vendor repairs, follows safety and environmental standards, and mentors new associates. A high school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience, and two years of small-engine repair experience are required; additional certifications, engine-maintenance, parts-sales, equipment-service, and customer-facing experience are preferred.
