Description
Hypersonica is hiring a Mechanical AIT Engineer to bring hypersonic vehicles from design concept to flight-ready reality. The role owns mechanical assembly, integration, and test activities; develops procedures from engineering drawings and CAD models; defines assembly sequences, tooling, fixtures, torque specifications, and build documentation; supports hands-on assembly and integration; and collaborates with mechanical, systems, and electrical teams to resolve integration issues and support functional and environmental testing. Applicants need a degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, experience with precision mechanical assembly or structures, and the ability to work in a fast-moving prototype environment. The role requires British citizenship or dual UK nationality with British citizenship and eligibility for UK security clearance and, where required, developed vetting.
