Description
The Mechanical Design Lead will architect and define mechanical systems for semiconductor capital equipment and precision instrumentation, including lithography, wafer handling, precision motion, and analytical tools. The role covers system architecture, conceptual design, tolerance and budget allocation, V-model testing and integration, multidisciplinary team leadership, stakeholder management, and mentorship. It requires an MSc or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics, 10–15 years of experience in complete design cycles for high-tech complex systems, semiconductor capital equipment expertise, DfX knowledge, precision tolerance analysis, and technical leadership experience.
