Description
The Mechanical Assembler performs mechanical coupling and assembly operations in production, connecting metal couplings to pipes with a machine and manually tightening couplings when needed. The role also prepares generator groups, follows work orders, checks engine and alternator assemblies, records production data, maintains production identification cards, returns materials to the warehouse, and uses special machine tools. The position requires a high school diploma, a driver’s license, at least one year of experience with power and control circuit materials, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds periodically and 50 pounds continuously, and knowledge of quality, environmental, and OSHA requirements.
