Description
ABEC is hiring a full-time Mechanical Assembler in Fermoy, Cork, Ireland. The role involves assembling stainless-steel products using hand tools, manufacturing equipment, measuring devices, grinders, and other fabrication tools; operating overhead cranes and forklifts; inspecting shop equipment; and maintaining safe work practices. Training is provided for applicants with the ability to learn and develop existing mechanical skills. A junior certificate or equivalent is required, while a pipe-fitter or plumber trade qualification and experience with stainless steel, tanks, piping, and vessels are advantageous. The work is primarily performed in the manufacturing facility, with occasional customer-site travel.
