Description
AST is hiring a full-time, on-site Assembly and Repair Technician in Tacoma, Washington. The role assembles industrial machinery, troubleshoots electrical issues, tests equipment, performs drilling, tapping, fixture organization, redlining drawings, forklift and crane operation, field installations, and occasional rework machining. The position requires at least one year of assembly and repair experience, the ability to read engineering drawings and schematics, physical ability to lift 50 pounds and work continuously for up to 8 hours, and national and international travel of up to 30%. Compensation is $30.38 to $38.00 per hour for onsite Washington applicants, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
