Description
The Mechanical Assembler assembles, fabricates, tests, and maintains industrial machinery and specialty equipment according to specifications, blueprints, sketches, and written instructions. The role also involves packing items for projects, assisting with yard and inventory maintenance, rebuilding returned machinery, and operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment. Candidates need a high school degree or equivalent, successful welding tests and qualifications, a good mechanical background, and at least two years of experience.
