Description
The Mechanical Assembler I performs basic mechanical assembly while learning company processes, safety standards, quality requirements, and production procedures under the guidance of experienced assemblers and supervisors. The role involves reading engineering drawings and work instructions, measuring materials, operating power and hand tools, troubleshooting mechanical equipment, maintaining quality and 5S standards, and supporting production across work centers. It requires a high school diploma or GED, one year of continuous manufacturing experience, English reading ability, and the ability to work at heights of 16–18 feet and lift up to 40 pounds. The position pays $21.85 to $24.15 per hour and includes medical, dental, and vision benefits, a 401(k) match, life insurance, paid holidays, wellness and safety-equipment reimbursement, and a discretionary annual bonus.
