The Mechanical Assembler assembles, fits, and installs complex converting and web-handling equipment according to engineering drawings and specifications. The role involves layout planning, precision mechanical assembly, torque and alignment work, inspections, troubleshooting, prototype support, and collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams. Candidates need a technical diploma or equivalent experience, strong mechanical-drawing and precision-tool skills, and the ability to work safely in a shop-floor environment; industrial-machinery experience and hydraulic or pneumatics knowledge are preferred.
