HDR is hiring a Power Engineer in Training for its Michigan-based Power Generation engineering consulting team. The role supports power generation, cogeneration, district heating and cooling, renewables, and related energy infrastructure projects, including design, calculations, code reviews, equipment and piping drawings, site surveys, procurement specifications, bid evaluations, feasibility studies, and project analysis. The position may include specialized training and assignments and may require some travel. A bachelor's degree in engineering and Microsoft Office skills are required; an EIT certificate is preferred, with candidates without one placed into a Design Coordinator job code.
