AWS is hiring a Colocation Data Center Engineer in Calgary to assess and select colocation facilities, review vendor infrastructure designs, perform risk and availability analyses, investigate equipment failures, ensure regulatory compliance, and validate critical electrical, mechanical, fire suppression, controls, and structural systems. The role requires at least six years of data center or mission-critical facility engineering experience, a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, and travel to domestic and international data center sites up to 50%. The base salary is CAD 95,200–159,000 annually, with medical, dental, vision, prescription, life, and AD&D insurance benefits.
