Description
HDR is hiring a Mechanical Design Coordinator/EIT to coordinate and develop mechanical designs for commercial and institutional building projects. The role includes HVAC load and energy analysis, mechanical equipment selection, HVAC and plumbing construction documents, specifications, coordination with architects and other engineering disciplines, supervision of Mechanical CAD Technicians, and construction contract administration with field inspections and conflict resolution. A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required, while an EIT certificate, a master's degree in Architectural Engineering with a mechanical emphasis, relevant facility experience, sustainable design knowledge, and prior consulting-firm experience are preferred.
