Description
Benchmark Space Systems is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer in Burlington, Vermont for an on-site full-time role focused on developing new propulsion components and systems for small satellite propulsion and in-space mobility. The engineer will work across mechanical, electrical, software, analysis, test, fluids, production, and customer-facing teams to take designs from concept through production, support sourcing and documentation, and improve existing designs. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field, 3+ years of aerospace mechanical design experience, proficiency with CAD and mechanical analysis tools, and knowledge of DFM, GD&T, and aerospace design practices.
